Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Patrick inherited his hometown’s passion for food and wine. Growing up, Charleston’s cultural and culinary diversity fueled Patrick’s desire to feed his ever-growing epicurean appetite. He worked at craft cocktail and flair bars across the city, leading him to win numerous awards for originality and style. He joined the Army after 9/11 where he not only grew as a leader and team player, but also gained a new perspective on life. With this new perspective, he realized that the best way to travel and experience all that the world has to offer was through food and wine. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Army, Patrick moved to St.Croix to resume his passion for food, wine, and the culinary life. He has been living on St. Croix now for eight years. “My favorite part about food and wine is how it brings everyone together”, he says. “Everything we do in life requires us to eat, and the best complement to good food is good wine and good company”. That belief inspired Patrick to travel the world exploring the wines of different regions. Patrick is currently studying for his Second Level Sommelier test and is constantly working to bring his knowledge of craft cocktails and wine to the next level. He has won several awards throughout the Caribbean and has consulted on numerous award-winning wine menus. For the past four years, Patrick has been named to the Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” list. When he is not in the restaurant, Patrick donates his time to help educate other enthusiasts and enjoys conducting private tastings for those who share his passion.
